My name is Bogdan Konovalov, I am a pastor without one leg.
At the moment, in the building of our church, we organized a shelter for refugees, a humanitarian warehouse and a social canteen.
During the two months of the war in Ukraine, our shelter received 1000 people, we have distributed tons of humanitarian aid and thousands of hot meals across Dnipro city and region.
Currently as a church we focus on maintaining refugee shelter for 60 people. Dnipro is receiving lots of refugees, that are fleeing the warzone mostly for several nights before their next, long term move. We provide safe place to stay, hot meals, clothing and most importantly spiritual support for everyone who enters our shelter. Depending on war situation we permanently host 30-40 people full time and keep 20 -30 seats for short term stays.
