Victory Church, Lviv (Food assistance, Daycare & Housing)

We focus on 3 main areas: providing hot meals for local people in need, delivering food aid for temporarily displaced people, running full time shelter for 20 refugees and free Christian daycare for 10 children in Lviv. Hot meals for local people in need Every Tuesday we prepare fresh lunches and distribute them to people in need, our heart longs for helping the elderly and lonely people. The main purpose of our ministry is not only to feed people with warm lunch, but also give them spiritual food. At each such meeting we feed from 40 to 50 people, where we preach the Gospel and pray for people’s needs. We order lunches in a cafe or cook them by ourselves. Of course, we want to do feed people more often, so if this ministry has touched your heart, you can support us. We also buy these people medicines that they cannot afford Shelter & Food Aid kits As a church we serve people who find themselves in difficult circumstances during the war: we provides humanitarian aid in the form of food kits, hygiene products, baby food and clothing. We reach 120 families monthly with aid kits. We have also set up a full time shelter for 20 people in our church building, where we provide long and short term housing, meals and all basic household necessities. Christian Daycare We are aiming to open a free Christian daycare, where temporarily displaced parents can bring their children and go to work locally in Lviv. Lots of people arriving in Lviv need to start their life from scratch, since they’ve been fleeing the warzone. We already have renovated separate room for daycare and purchased basic furniture. We would like to buy the rest of the equipment and hire full-time teacher + assistant to start the daycare for 10 children first.
