Covenant Church, Kremenchuk (Food assistance & Supporting remote villages)
Covenant Christian Church in Kremenchuk, Poltava region are focusing on volunteering and assistance in solving the humanitarian and migration crisis. Kremenchuk is considered to be “safe place” in Central Ukraine, where lots of people are searching for long term shelters. As a church we operates in 3 main areas: feeding, local assistance to the low-income families and supporting remote villages in Poltava region, that have no access to humanitarian aid.
1) Feeding is our main priority
Every day we provide hot and fresh food for every person in need for free. We reach daily aprox. 500 people in 6 districts of Kremenchuk: Rakivka, Kriukiv, Center, Pyvzavod, Molodizhnyi, Lashky.
Most of them are refugees, homeless, low-income or retired.
We have no restrictions, we feed everyone.
2) Local assistance
We guide assistance and products to low-income families, refugees and other people in need. Also, on the territory of the Covenant Christian Church we prepare weekly food kits that are delivered to people across the city. Currently we are reaching 250 families with food kits.
3) Supporting remote villages
Since the beginning of the war we have been collecting and sending humanitarian aid to villages and rural areas in Poltava region. Our main priority are places that do not receive support from others.
