In 1998, Mission Haiti Medical was formed to organize and promote ministry involvement from the Midwest US. Started by Dr. Mark Fulton, DDS and wife Kathy, Mission Haiti Medical is now governed by a 10-member medical advisory committee, based in Anderson, IN. While we work primarily in health care, through work camp clinics around the country, Mission Haiti Medical also oversees the operation of an outpatient clinic in Saintard, Haiti in cooperation with missionary Phyllis Newby and the leadership of the local church, L’Eglise de Dieu Reformee. The clinic provides health care services to Haitians through a medical clinic, dentistry clinic, eye clinic, 2 operating rooms, pharmacy, lab and a soon-to-be completed prosthetics unit. Supplies are shipped from the United States to the hospital and affiliated ministries approximately every 6 months.
